IRS Intermediate Level Tax Preparation Training

Sign up for this event to become certified in IRS Intermediate Level tax preparation. You must be certified in basic level tax preparation before attending this training. This is the third year we have offered the opportunity for volunteers to become certified to prepare returns dealing with:

- Itemized deductions
- Small business income and the Schedule C-EZ
- Retirement income and the 1099-R
- Homeowners and the Schedule A

You are not required to be certified in intermediate level tax preparation to volunteer at a site. Training will take about four hours. Testing sessions for intermediate level certification will be held by the Boston EITC on Sundays and are indicated in the event titles on the calendar.
